Having named themselves after their local town, 'Delta' (Al Jensen & Jef Leeson) are a duo of the 'Having A Blast From Midnight Til 6am' genre. Using a bedroom remodelled to slightly resemble a mini-studio (dubbed 'Track One') at the Jensen residence, Delta used audio cassette and quadraphonic open-reel decks, a 12 channel mixer and consumer-grade ancillary gear to record anything that came to mind.

Primary writer, Jef Leeson, spent many hours during his late teens writing a pile of songs, many of which were recorded at Track One, and the best of those titles have been chosen to be included in the first Delta release, 'Head Stock'.

An ambitious recording engineer wannabe, Al Jensen had acquired an unusual collection of gear for his studio, with which every note that popped into his head became a magnetic tape image . A fan of the likes of Mike Oldfield, Mozart and Deep Purple, Jensen was eager to record anything that came across his board. Several of his solo instrumentals have also been included in 'Head Stock'.
